- The reregistration deadline under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 passed on 5 April 2026 – if your organisation is an incorporated society, this affects you directly, whether you made the deadline or not.

- Societies that did not reregister have been automatically removed from the Incorporated Societies Register as of 6 April 2026.

- The restoration process involves preparing a compliant constitution, lodging an application (fee: $177.78 + GST), and a 20 working day public notice period.
